Policies :


Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to your appointment.

No show:

If an adult owner is not home when we arrive for a scheduled appointment, we will leave an invoice for payment of a minimum service fee ($50.00) at your door, to be paid within 10 days.

Returned checks:

Returned checks will be subject to a returned check fee of $20.00 or 10% of the grooming session charge, whichever is greater.

De-matting policy:

Excessive dematting can be a very painful and dangerous process for your pet. We will not use "mat breakers" or other tools intended to pull apart, "break" or cut apart mats in an attempt to "save the coat." If the matting has developed into a pad close to the skin, we will clip under mats with electric trimmers to remove them. We will assess each case individually and discuss options with you.

Pet behavior and stress:

For the benefit of both the pet and the stylist, we will NOTcontinue working with vicious or aggressive pets and may refuse service. If a pet is unusually upset, we may skip stressful procedures or take extra time for a "time out." We will charge for any additional time needed. We may refer you to your veterinarian for sedation for your pet.

Responsible adult:

On your first appointment, the adult who is physically and financially responsible for the pet must be at home and available by phone for the entire grooming session. Once we are familiar with your pet, arrangements can be made for future appointments if the owner cannot be at home.

Pet's health history:

The responsible adult must know the pet"s health history and status. If the pet has been recently acquired, it must have been examined by a veterinarian and deemed healthy enough for a grooming session. Rabies vaccine must be current. 

No feral cats:

We will not attempt to groom feral cats, even if the cat seems friendly, approaches you and allows petting.

Pre-existing conditions and Experiences:

Your pet's safety and comfort are our primary concern. Please advise us of any allergies, sensitivities or pre-existing medical conditions. Also let us know of past negative grooming experiences. We want to avoid repeating any unacceptable experiences you may have had!
